NSE Shares calculator is meant to help Kenyan/foreign investors who are actively trading at Nairobi stock exchange market to carry out simple calculations relating to stock trading.
The calculator can compute the following simple parameters;
- Break even price.
- Return on Investment (ROI).
- Investment rate.
- Recommended selling price for a given investment rate/ expected return.
The calculator uses the following default rates to calculate (approximately) how much your broker will charge you and how much levy will be imposed during the transaction.
- Broker rate of 1.78% for amounts below one hundred thousand Kenya Shillings (KSh. 100,000).
- Broker rate of 1.5% for amounts above one hundred thousand Kenya shillings.
- Transaction (Tr.) rate of 0.36% for calculating the transaction levy.
The calculator allows you to change the broker rate in order to align the calculator's computation with whatever rate your broker is charging.
